About the performance: Old Friends tells the story of two “old friends”, Ma Dayun and Li Xiaoxiang, who have not been in contact with each other for many years, but accidentally reunited because of a rear-end collision, and consequently embarked on a special journey to rediscover friendship and the true beauty of life.
Combining the traditional forms of read-throughs and the current fad of “immersive” performance, the project team of Old Friends has developed the on-site immersive read-throughs performed in the sound theatre. The attempt at multimedia has transformed the performance of “reading-through” into a feast of “acting-through”.
About the theater: Happytogether is a cultural and artistic exchange brand operated by Dreamcast studio. At present, it has successfully held many screenplay reading activities. Read the classic script together, feel the beauty of the artistic conception created by the script together, and feel another kind of life.
