Professor Marcin Brzozowski will lead a practical workshop on focused stage presence, exploring Polish methods of actor training centered on improvisation.

The work will focus on stage composition and the development of a performance from scratch, with emphasis on active listening and authentic reaction.

Breathing techniques and body awareness will be integrated into practical exercises.

Participants will learn to be present with their whole body and spirit.

The workshop is intended for acting students, actors, and directors.

About the Author:

Marcin Brzozowski is a director, screenwriter, and Artistic Director of the Nowy Theatre in Łódź, as well as a professor at the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw (Białystok branch).

He graduated in directing in Warsaw and completed the international program in theatre pedagogy, being trained in the finest traditions of the Polish theatre school. He has staged productions in Poland, Germany, and Ukraine.

His stage achievements are distinguished by a deep interest in the actor’s organic presence on stage.

He is frequently invited as a trainer in international acting workshops.
