Synopsis:

Through the vision of director Alla Fedoryshyna, Eugène Ionesco’s The Lesson becomes a powerful reflection on the mechanisms of power and violence.

The Professor, the Pupil, and the Maid reveal the terrifying logic of domination, exploring the eternal conflict between democracy and totalitarianism. With live music and bold visual imagery, the performance dismantles tyranny and shows how violence subtly infiltrates human relationships.

A harsh lesson about aggression in a world aspiring to democracy.
