Synopsis:
Europe in the 1930s, a single night, a claustrophobic room. Carla and Helver have no one but each other. Helver, a vulnerable young man with the mind of a child, sees the world through rituals and toy soldiers.
When he returns home with bruises after a violent demonstration, the fragile balance collapses. Political hysteria penetrates the intimate space, reflecting a society sliding into intolerance and violence.
