About the performance: No one knows what results will follow the decision of the three old people, who have become so used to the monotonous way of life, living with the past, the small terrace, the hot soup, and their pyjamas, that they are dreadfully afraid of change. They too have turned into the stone statue, which devotedly stands by them and is part of all their stories. The dream is far away. Far away are the poplars, the tops of which are continuously blown by the wind, as if it were a mechanism of constant action...

About the theater: The history of Kutaisi Theatre is made rich by prominent public figures, culture and theatre representatives, as well as significant theatrical events. The great traditions are proudly carried on by the Meskhishvilians’ new generation.

The purpose of the theater is to provide opportunities for experimental practice and academic explorations under the current trend of theater entertainment.

The band consists of a few 'old men'; who have been in the theater community for many years and some new faces who are generally students of the teachers and masters at the Shanghai Theater Academy.

The center has participated in academic research and experimental theater productions. The repertoire includes plays by Samuel Beckett, Harold Pinter, Jon Fosse, Eugène Ionesco and so on.
